3. Why did you become a trainer?

I grew up playing sports throughout his youth and it was during these years, developed a desire to become a coach. I went to college to study education with hopes to eventually become a teach and coach after school hours. While at CCU, I began teaching group exercise classes and immediately found my match. Since August 2009 I have gone on to acquire over 10 national training certifications in the following areas: Certified Spinning instructor, Aquatic fitness Instructor, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CSCCA Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified, USAW lvl 1 Sports Performance Coach, and is the Official Training for Warriors affiliate representing Myrtle Beach. I have been working as an instructor & personal trainer for 9 years now.

I like functional training, I like to do movements based off of movements in everyday life. Not everyone should be doing the same movements, but everyone should be able to pick a weight up off the ground.

5. Favorite Food?

I eat a lot of chicken!

7. Why Finish Strong over other gyms?

The great thing about Finish Strong is we develop every fitness level. We address your needs and modifications so you get what you want and see the results you desire.

8. What advice would you give someone starting a healthier lifestyle?

I would say start with slow steady changes and be consistent. You should make a long term & a short term goal. Don't jump right in, you will be more successful with small steady changes.
